ROCKBUND is situated where the Huangpu River meets the Suzhou Creek, at the beginning of the Bund. Over the last 16 years, many top architects and designers have been invited to participate in the project. David Chipperfield Architects, has been commissioned with the restoration and refurbishment of 11 historic buildings and the overall architectural design of ZA·Andrews & George Building. Arquitectonica has designed 5 new buildings. With the ROCKBUND project successive opening in 2022 , we are building a future-facing brand. To us it speaks of creative experiences that aim to challenge, educate, entertain and engage audiences ahead of the mainstream. The role of ROCKBUND is to cultivate a ‘society of creators’ and break down the barriers between art and the life, provide authentic and sincere experience.
